#Day117 Thank you British School of Paris!

Saint Palais to Saint Jean Pied de Port – 31km
10C
Terrain: undulating road and off-road

This post is dedicated to the wonderful students of the British School of Paris (the school I went to as a child). On their charity day, they recently raised a whopping £480 through their fundraising activities for the British Red Cross and have had the amazing kindness of putting these funds through my challenge website. Thank you!

As you might remember, I went to the school when I passed through Paris to talk to the students, ranging from 10 years of age to 18. It was one of best and most rewarding days of this challenge so far. Answering questions and absorbing their amazing enthusiasm, it makes me feel all warm just thinking about it.

Amazing work BSP, thank you so very much!!!

This definitely kept me going today in the lashing rain. Around 15 minutes in, I had squelching shoes and was pretty wet, very soggy feet, yuck!

The beauty around here though is quite simply breathtaking. I’d sent Bob ahead today as there wasn’t going to be much road and a fair amount of elevation. Very glad I did as some of the passages would have been near impossible, phew!

Very wet!
