#Day167 I’m back!

Malaga to Fuengirola – 30km
17C
Terrain: roads

I’ve had such a wonderful time so far! My parents arrived on 22nd December and Christmas together was so so special.  I’m feeling so blessed and grateful.

After almost a week’s rest, time to get back on the road.

So here’s the plan. I’m still with my family and we’re staying further along my route to Tarifa. So, the new plan is to cover off the route further along. I’ll head back to Almeria after New Year and then when I get to Malaga (where I started this morning), I’ll leapfrog the bit I’ve covered. That’s the plan anyway.

Today, was great. After starting on what was pretty much a motorway (oops), the second half was along a coastal path. No cars and generally lovely. Lots of tourists and locals out and about enjoying the sun.

My legs were so much happier after the break so I made decent progress.

Then icing on the cake, when I got back to where we’re staying my brother, his wife and my darling nephews had arrived. Yay!

Enjoying the family time 🙂
