I met my Dad today so Where’s Wally/Viv worked, yay!!!

It ended up being completely by chance. I arrived in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant along the seafront, beautiful, gorgeous turquoise sea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dad had just picked up a rental car at Barcelona airport and said he was heading towards the ‘town centre’ of this place. So after fuelling myself with some food and taking a few pics, I figured I’d head towards what I thought was the centre to wait. Arrived at a roundabout, heard a car beeping and there he was! Just arriving at the same place at the same time! What are the chances?

We’re now in a seaside town called Cambrils, which I went through this morning, for a couple of nights.

Dad and I, happy faces all round 🙂 🙂 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another plus is that today was lovely, seaside paths and even the roads weren’t too busy so I was able to relax a little bit. The only downer is that my foot isn’t really improving despite the shorter distance today but hopefully a day off will give it the rest it needs.

And…first joke I think I’ve had the whole way from a stranger.  A lady walking past said, “It doesn’t cry, haha”. Brilliant, made me smile, especially given most of the time people like at me like I’m completely bonkers (fair enough!).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I arrived at this place when the weekly market was taking place, what a beautiful setting!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I so love seeing my wonderful family and friends. Lots of long, lovely talks and good good times. So happy. I think Dad and I are heading into Tarragona tomorrow to have a better look around. Looking forward to spending more time with him.
